ROCKY MOUNT - Mary Louise West, 74, born April 12, 1942, passed away on July 24, 2016 at Heritage Nursing Home in Rocky Mount.
Mary was born in Warren County (Warrenton, NC). She moved to Rocky Mount in the late 60s were she became a homemaker. She was the daughter of late Lonnie and Bertha West.
She is survived by three children, Rocky L. Shearin, Brenda S. Adams (John) and Elaine O. Vaugn; grandchildren, Brandon D. Fountain (Tabitha), Beth Chappell, Jessica Casper, Pamela S. Belahumier (Derrick), Paul L. Shearin (Glenda), Tabitha L. Tanner, Steven M. Adams, and Chris M. Stacy (Emily); and great grandchildren, Brandon Fountain Jr., Wesley Fountain, Landon Fountain, Dylan Fountain, Logan Stacy, Luke Stacy, Johnathan Shearin, Brooke Shearin, Ashton Belahumier, Trey Parker, J.T. Tanner and Steven Shearin.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 6 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Rocky Mount, NC.

My condolences to the family. Take comfort from Gods word the Bible. This is a distress time for the family but in Psalms 461 it states God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress. Also it is so encouraging to read Isiah 258 which states He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. What a wonderful blessing for your and your entire family to enjoy.
