Naomi Sorie Hux

Naomi Sorie Hux, age 88, passed away in the early morning hours on December 13, 2018. She left her earthly body in time to celebrate her 89th birthday in heaven with Jesus. Born in Halifax County, NC on December 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland L. Sorie and Mamie J. Sorie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hux and son, Dennis Hux. Her family will cherish her memories until they meet again in heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Hux Morgan; son-in-law: Clarence W. Morgan; grandchildren: Eric Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Ryan Morgan, Diana Hux, Brittany Cook, Ashley Hux, and Tiffany Hux; and great grandchildren: Damien Hux, Matthew Hux, Journey Hux,Trinity Hux, Elliott Morgan, Liam Cook, Montgomery Morgan, and McKenna Cook. A visitation at 1pm immediately followed by a celebration of life at 2pm will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Rocky Mount on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
