Daniel Thomas Davis Jr.

ROCKY MOUNT – Daniel Thomas Davis, Jr., age 82, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. Born in Nash County, NC on April 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Daniel Thomas Davis and Annie Ruth Pope Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Roxie Anne Daniel Davis.

Daniel enjoyed fishing. When not fishing he would be at home watching his western TV shows or planning a farm auction to attend. His family was everything to him, and he will be dearly missed.

Daniel is survived by his son, Tim Davis, and wife Angela of Greenville.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 661 English Road Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Burial will follow the service at Mill Branch Cemetery, 5597-5661 S. Halifax Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. A visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
