Stanley Terrell Sr.

WHITAKERS – Stanley Terrell, Sr., age 89, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026. Born in Wetumpka, Al on December 15, 1936, he was the son of the late William Terrell and Delilah Ross Boulden. He was also preceded in death by his significant other, Nora Hill; brothers, Wilbert Terrell and Ricky Terrell.

Stanley was a quiet and reserved man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved watching sports and was a loyal fan of the New York Knicks and the New York Giants. He also enjoyed spending time watching his favorite TV shows, especially Law & Order and Chicago Fire.

Stanley will be remembered for his calm nature and quiet presence. He touched the lives of those who knew him in his own special way and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Stanley is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Terrell; son, Stanley Terrell, Jr.; bonus son, Noah Jasgarszewski; grandchild, Jasmine Terrell; special cousin and friend, Eugene Geeter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 661 English Road Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Rev. Mary H. Williams, officiating and Rev. James Grant, as the Eulogist. A visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 11:45AM prior to the service in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
