Timothy Wayne Wheeler

ROCKY MOUNT – Timothy Wayne Wheeler, age 61, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. Born in Nash County, NC on March 30, 1963, he was the son of the late Danald Wayne Wheeler and Gloria Ellen Bass Wheeler.

An avid fisherman, Timothy found peace and adventure on the open water. When not working, or on the water, he could often be found working on his boat in his shop.  Beyond the water, Timothy loved to tinker in his workshop, where he could fix, build, and create. He found contentment in the simple things in life, appreciating the beauty of a well-crafted tool and the satisfaction of a job well done. His hands, weathered by years of hard work, were a testament to his dedication and resourcefulness.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 25 years, June Wheeler; daughter, Emily Wheeler; son, Evan Wheeler; sister, Sheila Alford (Mark); brother, Ryan Wheeler (Robin); and very good friend, Eddie Hargis.

Service will be private.
