NASHVILLE – Harold Ellis Pittman, age 72, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Born in Nash County, NC on June 18, 1953, he was the son of the late John Robert Pittman (Louise) and Ruby Williams Becton (J.T.).

Harold was a man who kept to himself, he enjoyed talking on the phone with his friends. Harold’s family will hold on to their favorite memories of him. He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Harold is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Pittman Grimm; grandchildren, Haley Grimm, and Emily Grimm; cousin, Pamela Whitley; and special friend Sherrell Davis.

Service will be private.

  4. Sorry I had not seen Harold in many years. We had fond memories growing up; I always enjoyed riding the school bus with him. He always very nice to me; he will be missed greatly.
