It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that Brian passed away February 28th in Greenville, South Carolina. He had lived there over two years, but he grew up in Rocky Mount and Nashville, N.C.
Brian leaves behind so many who cherished him. His significant other Corey Bredderman. His sister Karen Nash and his special niece Amelia Diaz. His Aunts: Fran Gschwind (Darryl), Denise Brumfield (Bruce), His Uncle Jason Luper (Dana). He has many cousins, two that he was close to throughout his life Matthew Gschwind & Emily Gschwind Morris (Michael). Brian always had a love for cats. His first cat was Sonny. He still had Winston (10-year-old) of his two later cats, Winston and Franklin, who he had for a long time.
Preceding his death were his parents Beverly Luper Nash and Randall Nash, grandparents Mary Ruth and Russell Greene, Wesley Clifton Luper, Kathleen and Paul Nash. His very special Aunt Marilyn Luper and Great Aunt Mildred Birney.
Brian had a special heart and very humble and kind spirit. He loved nature and traveling to places he had never been before. You could find him any given time reading a favorite book or new one in his quiet down time. He loved to cook for a crowd and share his new recipes and ideas for cooking and sit for some good family time and conversation during family get togethers.
He worked a long time in retail after attending college at North Carolina State University. BRIAN IS DEARLY MISSED!!
There will be a Celebration of his life Memorial @ Umstead Park in Raleigh, NC on April 12th, 2025 at 1:00 pm. This is at the Crabtree Shelter 1, 8801 Glenwood Avenue.
In lieu of flowers you are encouraged to donate a tree to be planted in his memory for his love of nature.
