WILSON – Herbert “Pete” Schoenberg, age 90, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Born in Wayne County, Michigan on May 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Herbert Herman Schoenberg, Sr., and Edna Janette Miller Schoenberg.
Pete was a member of St. Timothy Episcopal Church. Pete was a devout Christian and dearly loved by his wife, Ruth of 67 years. Pete enjoyed playing golf, but his true love was his family. Pete was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Pete is survived by his wife, Ruth Schoenberg; sons Herbert Schoenberg, III wife, Donna, Thomas Schoenberg, wife, Jane; daughters, Lynn Norton, husband, Johnny, Lauren Brinkley, husband, Jason. Pete was also blessed to have fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I am just now seeing this death notice. Our families were friends and I attended youth group with all of the wonderful Schoenberg kids where our families were founding members of Messiah Lutheran Church in Germantown MD.
