SPRING HOPE– James May Taylor, age 86, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Born in Nash County, NC on April 29, 1939, he was the son of the late Sam Taylor and Bessie Batchelor Taylor. He was also preceded in death by two of his brothers, Buddy Jones Taylor, and Wallace Willis Taylor; and sister, Mary Edith Taylor.

A lifelong resident of the Spring Hope community, James was known by many for his willingness to lend a hand, especially when it came to keeping his neighbors’ yards looking beautiful.
