Kevin Joseph Charette - "KC"

ROCKY MOUNT – Kevin Joseph Charette “KC”, age 55, departed peacefully from his home on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts on May 21, 1970, he was the son of the late Richard and Diane Charette.

Kevin, known as “K.C.”, was a man known for his strong work ethic, generous heart, and deep love for his family. A passionate business owner, K.C. took great pride in remodeling homes, pouring skill, care, and attention into every project he touched. His work was more than a job—it was a way to serve others and strengthen the community he cared so much about.

K.C. believed in doing things the right way and never shied away from hard work. Those who knew him admired his determination, reliability, and willingness to help wherever he was needed. Above all else, K.C. loved his family dearly. They were his greatest joy, his motivation, and the center of his life.

“K.C.” will be remembered for his dedication, his craftsmanship, and the love he shared so freely. His legacy lives on in the homes he restored, the lives he touched, and the family who meant everything to him.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pamela Patten (Charette): daughter, Kayla Walters (Anthony “Tony” Walters); grandchildren, Tapanga (Panga) Walters, Riley Walters, and Natalie Walters; siblings, Richard Charette, Jr., Jeffrey Charette, Tracy Charette (Greg), and Kelly Phillips (Dana), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Although you are gone, you are still in our hearts. The love you gave to us will continue on and on. The smile you always had on your face will be remembered as though you were still with us.

A Special Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 661 English Road Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
