Thank you Deana. You meant the world to Mollie and to all of us.
Thank you Deana. You meant the world to Mollie and to all of us.
Thank you Mac. I still can see pictures of our two families at the dining room table. We will miss Mollie but she is at peace and we are grateful for the long life she had.
And Mollie loved you James Brown. Thank you for being a friend to both of us.
Great memories of Mollie and all the Vanns. She will be miss by anyone who was lucky enough to know her.
Thanks Louise. She had good memories of learning how to swim in your back yard swimming pool. You and your family always remembered her throughout her life.
Mollie and my sister, Peggy lived at Caswell in Kinston at the same time. After their visits home, sometimes I rode with whoever was taking them back to Kinston. I was always amazed at Mollie’s knowledge of the current news. She was also learning to cook at that time. I have many fond memories of those days.
Molly was so devoted to Christ, I know she is in a happy place,
Thank you Pat for these memories of our sisters. I remember your Peggy and think of all of you when I walk by the house you and your siblings grew up in.
Mollie’s big laugh will be missed for sure and yes it was contagious. Thank you for your kindness Pam.
Mollie had the most wonderful sense of humor and a totally infectious laugh. We loved hearing Mollie’s many escapades, including riding horses, such courage to work harder and truer at everything she did. We will always think of Mollie, her love of music, her humor, her courage and her devotion to her family and faith.
Mollie loved each of you and spoke of you so often. Thank you all for being a huge part of her life.
Mollie loved to dye Easter eggs. I can remember going to her house, sitting at the kitchen table and dying eggs. She loved it when they came out with a crayon to write your name on the egg. We’d try to squeeze in Elizabeth on one egg and Josephine on another egg. I think of her often .
And boy did she love the Mebane’s. This memory of dying eggs has brought a smile to my face.
I know she will be missed by many.
Our sympathies.
Thank you Theresa for reminding me that you and Mollie were confirmed together. She remained a devout Catholic her entire life and her faith was an inspiration to many.
