Dorothy "Dot" Crickmore Griffin

Bel Air - Dorothy (Dot) Kathleen Crickmore Griffin, 86, passed away on January 25, 2019. She was born November 3, 1932 to the late Percy Lee and Elva Kathleen Denton Crickmore. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard T. Griffin, III, sons Thomas Taswell Griffin and Barry Glen Griffin; brothers, Jack, George and Dick Crickmore; sisters, Vivian Crickmore and Edna Farmer. Dorothy is survived by her children; daughter Beverly Jan Fleckenstein, sons, Gary R. Griffin (Josie), Richard C. Griffin (Kelly); grandchildren, Matthew Griffin(Amara), Elizabeth Fleckenstein (Brian), Joshua Griffin (Megan), Sarah Griffin, Katherine Griffin, Caleb Griffin (Casy), Samantha Kai-Lewis, Zachary Griffin (Kaylin), Ryan Griffin, Abigail Griffin and Allison Griffin, great-grandchildren; Josie, Virginia and Alexander; sisters, Sylvia Braswell and Mary Williams; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A visitation will be held 5pm-7pm Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The service will be held at 1pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 661 English Rd, Rocky Mount NC. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
