Dorothy Lewis Langston

Dorothy Lewis Langston, age 75, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Born in Greene County, NC on January 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William Elree and Ruby Virginia Harris Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton Westbrook Langston; two sisters, Barbara Lewis Hinson, and Louise Lewis; and one brother, Charles Lewis. Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Jenny Passmore and Ramona Ward. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and brothers, L.H. Lewis and Wayne Earl Lewis. Dorothy was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will always be treasured. Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Remembered with all the love our hearts can hold. She is back with God now and our hearts can rejoice in the time we were allowed to spend with her. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home Cremation Services.
