Ella Louise "Pitt Pitt" Pittman

Louise Pittman, known by many as “Pitt Pitt”, passed away at the age of 84 on Monday, November 5, 2018. Born in Wilson County, NC on May 18, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Millard Crocker and Nettie Crocker. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Jarvis Crocker and Earl Crocker. She will forever be remembered as “Pitt Pitt” by the many children she kept and loved as her own in her home for over 40 years. Louise is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Billy Pittman, sons Ronnie Pittman of Rocky Mount and wife Allison, Steve Pittman of Rocky Mount and wife Michelle; Daughters, Cheryl Sutton of Rocky Mount and husband Ken, Kathie Moone of Enfield and husband Wynne. Louise had seven grandchildren that she adored, Amanda Hooks of Rocky Mount and husband Jay, Billy Pittman of Garland, TX and wife Stephanie, Michelle Shearin of Rocky Mount and husband Buddy, Joshua Moone of Colorado Springs, CO and wife Bethany, Tyler Moone of Reidsville, NC, Jacob Pittman of Rocky Mount, and Amber Pittman of Rocky Mount. She also had eight great grandchildren, Mason, Jack, and Abbie Hooks, Zoey and Ava Shearin, Dayzee and Samantha Pittman, and Jaxon Moone. Keeping children in her home was her greatest joy! Babysitting her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and the many children in the community was Louises calling. She will be remembered and missed by everyone that knew her. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at North Rocky Mount Church of God. A funeral service will follow at North Rocky Mount Church of God at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jerome Mozingo officiating. An entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum.
