Spring Hope - Emma Armstrong Hall, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Born in Nash County, NC on April 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert Benjamin and Katie Landing Armstrong. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Little and brother, Robert Lee Armstrong.
Emma leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Randy Hall (Carol) and daughter, Phyllis Bailey (Thomas). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jennifer Durkee (Ryan), Chris Hall (Fiona), Nicholas Bailey and one great-grandchild, Emma Durkee; sister, Frances Taylor, three half sisters, Jean Proctor, Peggy OBriant, Alice Bullock and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum. Entombment will follow the service.
