Harvey Clinton Vick

NASHVILLE - Harvey Clinton Vick, age 90, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on December 28, 1930, he was the son of the late Robert Vick and Geraldine Vick. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Benjamin Vick, David Vick, Paul Vick and Darcey Vick; and sister, Roberta Winstead. Harvey loved the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisher. He was from a family of eleven children from the Sandy Cross Community. Harvey will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all that have had the pleasure of knowing him. Harvey leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Herbert Vick (Barbara); his sisters, Nellie G. Vick (Nub), Pearl Crumpler, Lois Perry (Allen) and Waverly Taylor (Allen); and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Ray Vick officiating. Burial will follow the service at The Vick Family Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at Johnson Funeral Home. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is requesting the need for social distancing and wearing of masks due to health concerns faced around our nation at this time.
