Hester Jeanette Williams Garner

Hester Jeanette Garner, age 93, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. Born in Wilson County, NC on August 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Ruth Proctor Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Rhaford Garner; brothers, Vernon, Rufus and W.T. Williams, sisters, Daisy Green, Helen Hill and Marie Ruffin. Jeanette leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Danny Garner, daughters, Sheila Woodcock (Barry), Cynthia Condon (Keith) and Gina Walker (Ricky). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Katye Walker, Danny and David Diven; and sister, Mildred Flora. Jeanette taught sewing at Singer. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, family, church activities and especially Inspiration Singers. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.
