Irene Perkins Cascell

ROCKY MOUNT– Irene Perkins Cascell, age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Born in Belmont County, OH on November 30, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Perkins and Lillian Perkins. Irene was a great cook and loved preparing meals for her family. She had a love for Polka and county/western music and loved playing her accordion. Irene was a great cook and loved preparing meals for family get-togethers. She was a loving wife, mother and Nanna and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her, but her loving spirit will never be forgotten as she was everything to her family. Irene is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bo Cascell; son, Joey Cascell, Jr, (Holly) of Pinetops; her daughter, Shonda Radford (Nate Smith), of Elm City; her grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Grayson, Ryan and Cheyenne; her brother, Carl Perkins (Sue), of Grove City, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Pineview Cemetery in Pinetops, NC with Rev. Jerry Barbee officiating. A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 12-1 PM in the parlor of Johnson Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome.
