Ivan Thomas Scism

NASHVILLE –Ivan Thomas Scism, age 86, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Born in Hudson County, NJ on December 1, 1936, he was the son of the late Robert Tremaine Scism, Sr. and Ethel May Green Scism. A man of great faith, he was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He proudly served our Country in the United States Air Force. Ivan was an avid NY Yankees baseball fan and was sure to watch every game. He loved hunting and did a little fishing. Ivan loved to tinker with small projects and loved playing dominos. A man of great faith, he was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a loving family man and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Ivan is survived by his wife of 62 years, Francine Scism; his sister-in-law, Rosemary Scuteri; his nieces and nephews, Gary Russell (Sue), Joel Goldman (Joyce), John Post and Richard Post. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 26 at 11 AM with Father Turner officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM.
