Jaime Gonzalez Jr.

ROCKY MOUNT – Jaime Gonzalez Jr., age 67, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He was a dedicated family man who was born and raised Roman Catholic in New York City, where he also attended high school and technical college. Jaime also served in the United States Army Reserves for 6 years. In 1991, Jaime moved his family to North Carolina to be closer to his wife’s family. He then created a business in the construction industry named Core Master, which he specialized in concrete cutting for over 40 years. This was his passion and lifelong dream to provide concrete cutting services and to be a part of improving North Carolina. Jaime lived a long and productive life, and he left this world knowing that he was loved. He is survived by his loving wife Lisa J. Gonzalez, of 37 years; his son Terrence H. Jenkins; cousins Maria A. Ortiz, Jesus B. Romero; and family. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. Jaime will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jaime’s memory to Hicks Animal Clinic, 3200 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
