  1. I am so very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with James for many years at ESC and was pleased we stayed in touch over time. He had a wonderful, wry sense of humor and a kind heart. I will remember him fondly.

  2. I worked along side James as an appeals referee for many years. He was one of my favorites in our department and I always enjoyed his company and his dry sense of humor. He was a wonderful man and I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

  3. So sorry for your loss. I worked with James for several years at the Employment Security Commission. He was the Appeals Referee stationed in Rocky Mount during a good portion of my tenure as manager there. Prayers for all.

  4. I regretfully was unable to attend the service. I will cherish Jamess memory and enjoyed working with him in politics. He had a wonderful soul.
