Jesus Alberto Grande Arteaga

ROCKY MOUNT – Jesus Grande Arteaga, age 47, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Born in El Salvador on August 14, 1976, he was the son of the late Francisco Grande and Erlinda Sarteaga Peñate. Jesus was a faithful servant of his King and enjoyed attending Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was also known for grilling out as Jesus loved preparing meals for his family and friends. His joyful spirit would always bring laughter and happiness to the family table. Jesus was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Jesus is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dilia Villatoro-Fuentes; son, Brian Maxwell Grande-Villatoro; daughter, Evelyn Carolina Grande-Villatoro; two brothers-in-law, Elmer Fuentes (Vilma Villatoro), and Christian Villatoro. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 661 English Road Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral and Cremations Services, 661 English Road Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
