ROCKY MOUNT - Juan Jose Esteban, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Born in Cuba on March 8, 1958, he is the son of Jose Antonio Esteban and Marta Morales Calafell Esteban.
Juan was a lover of cars and a great car salesman for many years. He loved to listen to great music in his down time with family. Juan will be remembered as a loving son, father and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed tremendously.
Juan is survived by of his parents, of Rocky Mount; and son, Timothy Esteban, of Elizabeth City.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Father Tim Meares celebrating. Burial will follow the Mass at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is requesting the need for social distancing and wearing of masks due to health concerns faced around our nation at this time.

As I stand by where you lay this is still just unreal. This is your favorite time of the year . It is cold outside it is Christmas. You are suppose to be here. I miss you and love you so much!!! The only peace that helps me through the day is knowing you are at peace with no more struggles. You don’t have to deal with this world and all the empty promises. You don’t have to think and hurt over anything or anyone anymore. You are free of all the pain suffering and struggles.
