Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Aunt Kat touched the hearts of so many in her life time. I have known Aunt Kat all my life. My Dad was her brother. My memories consist of my familys visits to see her family on an annual basis, every Easter. My memories reflect a hardworking woman, keeping her home in tip top shape, a loving wife and mother with a sweet spirit, loving smile, gentle but firm hand. The perfect hostess, making sure meals were provided, and everyone having a place to sleep. She had a contagious laugh which you could count on hearing often in her presence. Her love for music was something I will always cherish in my heart. I am thinking a lot today about how Aunt Kat has now been reunited with those who have gone before her. Oh what a time they must be having. Linda, Ann, Barbara and Jim, my love to you all, you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Jan Hamm Futrelle

  2. SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE PASSING OF KATHLEEN. SHE WAS A FINE LADY AND WILL TRULY BE MISSED. KNOW SHE IS HAPPY TO BE WITH HER SAVIOR NOW. JOE AND MARY EZZELL SHENANDOAH BAPTIST CHURCH

  3. I was saddened to hear that your mother passed away. She was always very kind to me and my family. I am thinking about each of you at this difficult time. Betty Jo Braswell Allen

  4. I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Kathleen Hamm Speight. Gods word the bible tells us we can gain comfort from our heavenly father, even during times of sorrow. We pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one. By prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 46 May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of Gods kingdom. Local ministry volunteer
