Kevin Mark Grant

TARBORO– Kevin Mark Grant, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Born in Norfolk County, MA on January 6, 1967, he was the son of the late Stanley W. Grant and Nancy J. Matta Grant. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 23 years Sirikit Grant. Kevin proudly served his country for 14 years in the Army, fighting in the Gulf War and Desert Storm. During his service time he served as a Jump Master and served in the 2nd Armed Division. Kevin also owned Nash Cigar from 2005-2014 and was a long-time employee with Nordson Corp. in sales. Kevin is survived by his son, Christian Thomas Grant (Hannah Jackson Grant); brother, Stanley Warren Grant Jr. (Valerie Jean Grant); niece, Shannon Lee Grant (Mike Crisci); nephew, Kevin Ryan Grant; great nephew, Jacob Daniel Grant. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church, 343 Woods Crossroads Road Benson, NC 27504 with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held at the home of Christian and Hannah Grant from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday July 5, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for assistance with Kevin’s final expenses.
