Linwood Bruce Burnette

ROCKY MOUNT - Linwood "Bruce" Burnette, age 76, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on May 17, 1945, he was the son of the late Linwood Perry and Roxie Collins Burnette.
Bruce worked for many years in the shoe department of Belk's. A man of great faith, he was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed every single day and never met a stranger. Bruce will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Bruce is survived by several cousins and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Dees officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
Memorials may be made in Bruce's memory to Calvary Baptist Church at 505 Englewood Dr, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
