Lucille Driver Medlin

Lucille Driver Medlin, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Born in Nash County, NC on January 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Mary Denton Driver. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Auburn Medlin. Lucille leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, Philip Medlin and Willard Medlin, grandchildren, Terrell Medlin, Dana Johnson, McDonough Lee Whitley, Skylar Bakewell, Nathan Medlin and Ryan Medlin, great-grandchildren, Jameson Boone, Leanne Boone, Jessica Boone, Caleb Boone, Brittin Boone and Alex Johnson. Lucille was a loving mother, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and especially going to the beach. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
