It goes without saying that she was a kind soul, but she deserves me saying it anyhow. I have some many good memories of her. One of my earliest is her visiting her mom at the same time we were there. She was so good at remembering everyone’s birthday I’d quiz her and time after time she got them right. I’m not sure when she started making thousands of pieces of candy to give away but I’ll never look at a shirt box again without thinking about getting shirt boxes of candy every Christmas. I couldn’t find a good picture of the masses of bins of candy she used to have and the stack of boxes for you to pick out what you wanted. I did find one of a section of bins and my choices for one year. While looking for candy pics I found a few of her with Mom, one with her sisters and an oldie but goodie with Uncle Elbert.
The best grandma a girl could ever hope for.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you.
