ROCKY MOUNT – Mary Frances Radford, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2021. Born in Lynchburg, VA on October 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert Clayton Poteet and Elsie May Woodford Poteet. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Lee Eide.Mary loved cooking, her family and was an active member of Shenandoah Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.Mary is survived by her husband, Nelson Radford; her son, Gary Burke; her son, John David Burke (Emily); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.A Funeral Service of Mary’s Life will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Shenandoah Baptist Church, 3894 Shenandoah Ct., Rocky Mount, NC 27803 with Pastor Tim Parker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
