Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Melanie was a sweet soul. I enjoyed all the times talking to her at the Summit Pool. R.I.P. Melanie.
It’s so mind boggling that just one month ago tonight I was sitting with and talking to my best friend and within minutes of my last words to her, she departed from her earthly home and transitioned to her Heavenly home. My heart is so heavy tonight because I miss my dear Cookie so much. It’s unthinkable to me that I can’t just pick up the phone and video chat with her. Our connection was one that you have with few people in a lifetime. No matter how much time we spent together, there was always something else to talk about or something to laugh about. We loved doing girly stuff… playing with makeup, hairstyles, and … oh!!! … the jewelry! The love that brought us together as friends and remained our thing most in common was and is our love for our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although I’m missing my friend now and will miss her until we’re together again, I’m so happy for her because I know that not only is she completely healed; but best of all, she has met our sweet Jesus and that she has been reunited with loved ones that went to Heaven before her. I also know that Cookie has found my Mama and has given her a big hug from me and has told her how much I love and miss her. Thank you my sweet Cookie for being my friend and loving and accepting me just as I am. I love and miss you so much!!!
