Nashville - Ruby Bissette Joyner, age 83, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. Born in Nash County, NC on December 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mrytie Bissette. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Joyner; daughter, Janice Kay Joyner and three brothers, Bobby, A.J, and J.B. Bissette. Ruby leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Sonja Williams and husband, Terry and Shelia Powell and husband, Brandon. She is also survived by grandchildren, Scott Williams and wife, Michelle, Matthew Manning and wife, Christy, Megan Page and husband, William, Taylor Braswell, great-grandchildren, Carter and Jordyn Mae Manning, Trenton, Aiden and Harper Williams, Olivia, Kennedy and Holden Page; sister, Estelle Webb and brothers, Bo, Jack and Frank Bissette. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon with the funeral service following at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.   1. So sorry to learn your loss. I remember spending the night with her in the summer. Always enjoyed myself. We also worked together for awhile at K & R Sportswear in Spring Hope. Lot of fond memories. I know a lot of things had gone on with her in the last few years, but she hung in. Praying for the family. Just lean on the Lord and keep believing.
