Virginia Louise McCarter

Rocky Mount - Virginia Louise McCarter, age 89, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020. Born in Nash County, NC on March 17, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Leggett McCarter. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Jimmy Guyant (Brenda), daughter, Norma McLamb (Pervis), Joanne Brake (Joe) and Debra Richardson (George). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Shane Guyant (Terrie), Sara Moseley, Mike McLamb (Amy); five great grandchildren, Matt, Ryan, Madison, Ashley, Davis; sister, Shirley Winstead and brother Billy McCarter. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park in the Mausoleum with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM with Pastor Allen Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
