Angela Leigh Miller Bartholomew

ROCKY MOUNT – Angela Leigh Miller Bartholomew, age 62, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026. Born in Highpoint, NC on November 16, 1963, she was the daughter of the late George Earl Miller and Anne Hardy Miller Wright. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Wright.

Angela passed away leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose children and grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life.

She had a deep love for her animals and was known for her artistic talents, especially painting and decorating. Angela had a gift for making everything around her more beautiful through her creativity. She also enjoyed relaxing and watching movies.

Angela will be remembered for her loving heart, creative spirit, and the joy she brought to her family and friends. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Angela is survived by her daughter, Casey B. Bartholomew (Anthony Hawkins); son, James Chadwick Bartholomew; grandchildren, Ethan Hawkins, Laney Bartholomew, Camden Bartholomew; life partner, Fredrick J. Fredrick; sisters, Denise Miller Harrerlson (Donnie), Georgia Miller Phillips (Scott), Elizabeth Wright Finez; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby Diamond.
