NASHVILLE - Betty Lindsey Edwards, age 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 29, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on March 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William Nathaniel Lindsey and Sally Winstead Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Benjamin Franklin "B.F." Edwards; her sisters, Etta L. Vick and Mamie L. Parker; her brothers, Otis G. Lindsey, Lotis C. Lindsey, Cleveland R. Lindsey, Dempsey B. Lindsey and Ernest Lindsey. Betty is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. A Funeral Service to celebrate Betty's life will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with John Manning officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service in the Parlor at Johnson Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in Betty's name to Barnes Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 5592 West Mount Drive, Nashville, NC 27856.
