Mr Bruce was a sweet man who brightened my day every Thursday when he came through my line at Harris Teeter with his smile and he would give me three pieces of candy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they go through this difficult time!

Great memories of our neighbor, Mr. McRoy ,from my youth and then raising a family two doors down. He will be missed on Dover Road.
Mr. Bruce (The Candyman) was a pure joy to be around everyone at the YMCA loved him. His smile could light up any room and his kindness will never be forgotten. He was one of my father’s best friend Tyrone Richardson (The Cake man). The Candyman will be missed dearly. May God continue to bless the McRoy.
