Charlette Whetstone Mather

ROCKY MOUNT – Charlette Whetstone Mather, age 90, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Born in Denver CO, Colorado on February 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. Whetstone and Lila King Whetstone. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lila Michael. Charlette had a passion for the outdoors and nature. She was always open to new adventures. But Charlette’s true love was her family. Family was very important to her, and she loved each one dearly. Charlette grandchildren were her world and each one had a special place in her heart. Charlette is survived by her daughter Cynthia Feeback (Jess) of Fredericksburg, VA; three son’s Timothy Mather of Rocky Mount; Larry E. Mather, and Daniel Mather of Aloha, Oregon; grandchildren Kaydee, Jessie, Amanda, Crystal, Tonya, Hilary and several great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at First Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount, NC.
