Christine Carpenter Lamm

January 3, 1940 ~ February 7, 2019

Christine Carpenter Lamm, 79, resident of Nash County, went to be with her Lord on February 7, 2019. Born in Nash County, NC on January 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Willie Freeman and Olzie Whitley Carpenter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lamm; daughter, Vickie Boone, five brothers, Joe, Cecil, Linwood, Bruce and Wade Carpenter. Christine leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons Greg (Cindy) and Jason Lamm (Shannon), one sister Brenda Popowitch (Milo); grandchildren, Brandon Baker, Christina Boone, Johni Boone, Bentley Lamm, Trevor Godwin, Stevie Lumley and Macie Weaver, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. On August 24, 1962 she married Frank Lamm and devoted her life to being a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Vaughans Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Elm City, NC where she was dedicated in attendance and to serving in ministry as long as her health permitted. Today she has received her reward of eternal life with her heavenly father. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Bailey Cemetery, with Pastor David Gosselin officiating. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks and deepest gratitude for all expressions of sympathy and acts of kindness shown during this time.   1. I’m so sorry for your loss. I found this photo of Christine with my Daddy and family. When my parents pasted away photos of them were a comfort to me. I remember her being there for my Daddy when he was in the hospital. You all are in our prayers. Kim Staton and family
