NORTH WILKESBORO - Cora Adcox, age 94, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Born in Halifax County, NC on November 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Gervis and Frances Denton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd "Dick" T. Adcox; and her brother Jim Denton.
Cora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her, but her loving spirit will never be forgotten as she was everything to her family.
Cora is survived by her daughters, Ann A. Barnes and husband, Eugene, of North Wilkesboro, and Linda A. Barnes and husband, Larry, of Nashville; her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday.
Flowers are welcome.

Thank God I got to know Ms. Cora. She is going to be missed by many. Her daughter Ann is a special angel that stood by her Mom as long as God would let her. Eugene also.
