Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Prayers to you all and I will always remember the good time we all use to have. Dennis had a special laugh and smile that no one else could have. I’m thankful that I could spend some special days with you all. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers, love always Vickie

  2. Sue and Jamie, Lisa and I will forever be grateful for the good times that we had with Dennis. Those memories are the treasures that we will always keep in our hearts. There were several great memories that we will cherish, but one in particular is when we went fishing with Dennis. He and Lisa were the only ones that caught 12 fish, and I (Eugene) didn’t catch anything. That proved who the skilled fishermen were. LOL! Growing up I remember all the good times Dennis and I (Eugene) used to have on the camping trips with our parents; and the times we used to play rounds of golf together. I remember the time we hit our golf balls in the edge of a pond @ Hickory Meadows Golf Course and discovered some snakes there when we went to retrieve them. We decided to leave the golf balls there! LOL! Throughout the different seasons of life, and in the midst of life’s challenges; our families have witnessed a demonstration of God’s goodness; over and over again. Lisa and I are also eternally grateful for how you and Dennis were such a blessing in helping care for my (Eugene’s) parents, while we were here in Texas following God’s call on our lives. Thank you again so much for all that you did! While we are so saddened by Dennis’ passing; if we could experience what he is enjoying today, we would clearly see how this world has nothing to offer in comparison to the blessings and wonder of heaven! We love you! Psalm 2713 (NIV) I remain confident of this I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Hugs and much love! Eugene & Lisa Staton

  3. While growing up at Ephesus, I’ve gotten to know Dennis and Sue quite well. I always remember him with a big smile and laugh and was always kind to speak to me over the years. Our hearts are hurting along side our extended family at Ephesus but rejoicing he is in the presence of Jesus. We are keeping Sue and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

  4. Dennis and I were in high school together. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was always a sweet, funny guy.

  5. Sue, I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. Many thoughts and prayers for you and the rest of his family.
