Guestbook

  1. Ms. Blaylock, Sharon, Betty & Kent, was shocked to hear of Eddies passing and want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the good Lord that he now dwells with in complete wellness, comfort and heal your hearts as Eddie is now healed. Love you all!

  2. Eddie was such a nice guy. I was in the songwriters group with him. Eddie wrote some beautiful lyrics to a song Sugar Eyes a few years ago for which I had the pleasure of adding music and singing. I think the lyrics to that song and the others Eddie pinned during the years I knew him reflected his gentle and creative spirit. His songs were always about love. He rarely missed driving to Raleigh for our monthly meetings or our other get togethers. We in the group will all miss him so much. Charles Owens

  3. I am so sad to hear about Eddie. I t does not surprise me that he wrote songs as I will always think of Eddie as a gentle soul. All the Blaylocks are deep in my memories of North Edgecombe. May peace be with all of you and may you be comforted by all those who knew and loved Eddie Blaylock somewhere on their path. Lynn Denton Templeton

  4. I am so sorry to hear this news today. My heart, thoughts, and prayers goes out to his family. Eddie was a good man.

  7. I was saddened to hear about Eddie. It was so good to talk with him at our 50th school reunion. We did not have the opportunity to talk about his music. I can see him writing songs, he has always been such a gentle person. My prayers to all of you. Joyce Grimes Everett

  8. Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

  9. I feel so blessed to have seen Edwin at the 50th class reunion and to have him join us for dinner that night. Super nice guy as always. Fortunately he is in pictures we took that night. He will be missed. Vicki Gorham Kidder

  10. I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, even during times of sorrow. We pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one. By prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 46 May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of Gods kingdom. Local ministry volunteer
