Nashville - Frances Greene Medlin, age 81, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Born in Nash County, NC on May 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Alton Thomas and Geneva Proctor Greene. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd (Top) Medlin; one sister; and six brothers. Frances leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Jerry L. Medlin and wife Kathy, daughters, Faye Hyde and husband, Joe, Frances “Fran” Woodruff and husband, Jeff. She is also survived by granddaughter, Nicole Medlin, grandson, Allen Hyde; and grand-pup, Abbigail. Frances was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She would tell you like it is, but in a loving way A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to your church or a favorite charity of your choice in honor of Frances G. Medlin.   2. I remember a sweet, kind and loving lady. Frances loved the Lord, Top, her children and her family fiercely!! She always had a hug for me!! I know she is rejoicing in heaven! She refused to get a cell phone because she didnt want everybody tracking her down. Thats OK because we know where she is and I know Ill see her again!!! My prayers are with you all!!
