Frances S. Howell

August 16, 1929 ~ May 14, 2016

Rocky Mount - Frances S. Howell, age 86, went to her new heavenly home on Saturday May 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Moses and Iola Bell Sykes, four brothers, four sisters and also her husbands, Wade Latta and Dewey Howell. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Ermenia Gray, one son Larry Latta (Janet) one daughter Judy Whitley (Bill) two granddaughters Missy French (Richard) Kayla Strickland (Donald). Two great granddaughters Madison French and Maelee-Grayce Strickland. Many nieces, nephews and extended family and special friends who she loved deeply. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 28,2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 at Northside Community Church on Gold Rock Road, Rocky Mount. Memorial Services will be immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends and family other times at 1249 Opossum Trot Lane, Rocky Mount. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Northside Community Church Building fund. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home Cremation Services, 661 English Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.   1. Francis was one of a kind.She will certainly be missed by all that knew her. Walk with the Lord, lean on Him in this sad time. He is the one in control and has all the answers. All of you are in my prayers.

It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.
