Frank Beneja Weaver

Frank Beneja Weaver Jr., age 83, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. Born in Nash County, NC on October 1, 1935, he was the son of the late Frank B. and Myrtle Baker Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his son, Gregory Keith Weaver; and brother, Lester E. Weaver. Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Sheila Driver and husband, John, sons, Jay Weaver and wife, Sulmar, Gary Weaver and Colby Weaver. He is also survived by grandchildren, Heather Peevy and husband, Jason, Leslie Matthijs and husband, Erik, Justin Weaver, Randall Weaver, great-grandchildren, Emerson Peevy, Tessa Peevy, Hunter Weaver and Holden Weaver; and sister, Vivian Bottoms and husband, Bobby. Frank loved to hunt and fish, he was in the Bass Fishing Club for 15 years (Coastal Plain Bass Trackers) and worked as a Lineman/Superintendent with the City of Rocky Mount for 30 years. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcomed to gather and visit at the home of Jay and Sulmar Weaver, 42 Harper Farm Lane, Rocky Mount NC 27801. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 ST Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or on line at Stjude.org/memorialgifts.   4. Some great memorys fishing together down east. We use to go every Tuesday. Frank would say we needed to let the bass rest from the weekend prior.
