Grayson Joseph Cascell

ROCKY MOUNT– Grayson Joseph Cascell – “Bo”, age 72, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Born in Norfolk, VA on October 11, 1951, he was the son of the late Leroy Cascell, Sr., and Lois Keller Cascell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Irene Perkins Cascell; his daughter, Cindy Cascell; his sisters, Helen Bedsole and Vernell Chism; and his brothers, Leroy Cascell, Jr., and Donald Cascell. Bo loved fishing and racing but was a well-known jokester. He loved to talk and could tell a story! Bo had a love for animals, all animals whether dangerous or not. In his time, he loved roller skating. Bo will be deeply missed. He made a difference in the life of everyone who knew him, and he leaves behind a tremendous legacy of life, love, and laughter. Bo is survived by his son, Joey Cascell (Holly), of Pinetops; his daughter, Shonda Radford (Nate Smith), of Elm City, NC; his grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Grayson, Ryan, Cheyenne, and Jonathan; his sister, Susan King-Richie (Talman); his brother, James Cascell (Faye); his sister-in law, Ann Cascell; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in the Parlor of Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Pineview Cemetery in Pinetops, NC with Rev. Jerry Barbee officiating. Family and friends are welcome at the home of Joey and Holly Cascell. Flowers are welcome.
