James Richard "Rick" Sharpe

James Richard “Rick” Sharpe Jr., age 73, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Rick was the son of the late James Richard “Buddy” Sharpe Sr. and Elsie Eason Sharpe. He was also preceded in death by his sister Linda Sharpe Douglas and nephew Matthew Douglas. Rick leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Sandra Denise Sharpe and one son, James Richard “Little Rick” Sharpe III. He is also survived by two grandsons, Joshua and Jeremy Sharpe. He also leaves behind Little Ricks Girlfriend, Renee and her two sons, Timothy and Michael, brother-in-law Johnny Douglas, two aunts and one uncle and many beloved cousins and other family members. Rick loved his family and enjoyed nature and especially fishing. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 3:30 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Elm City.
