ROCKY MOUNT – Jean Anna Chevallier, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.Born in Oyster Bay, New York on March 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Albert Walter Wolanski and Mary Catherine Niznik.
Jean was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Andre, with whom she shared a beautiful life filled with unconditional love.
Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored. Jean loved spending time with them, creating memories that they will cherish forever. She also enjoyed viewing her husband’s beautiful flower beds and in the harvesting of our bountiful vegetable garden.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Andre Chevallier; daughters, Claudine Marie Lengel (Todd), and Denise Jean McGough (Daniel); grandchildren, Monica Lengel, Carson Lengel, Collin McGough, and Cody Mc Gough.
Services will be private.
