Johnny "Frank" Franklin Williams

ROCKY MOUNT - Johnny "Frank" Williams, age 86, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Born in Pitt County, NC on December 27, 1934. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Rose Winstead Williams; his daughters, Evelyn Sheffield and Karen Williams; and infant son. Frank is a proud Airforce veteran with 13 years of service. He loved gardening and being outside enjoying nature. Frank loved going out to eat and spending time with all of his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Frank is survived by his son, Frankie Williams (Melissa Tatham), of Rocky Mount; and his grandchildren, Amy Outlaw, Tyler Flores, and Camden Williams. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Lou Spell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at Johnson Funeral Home. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is requesting the need for social distancing and wearing of masks due to health concerns faced around our nation at this time. Flowers are welcome.
