Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Aunt Joyce was a beautiful, warm and loving woman of God. She cared deeply about her husband, children, family and friends, and even strangers. She was very compassionate. She inspired me to take up the profession of Nursing, a decision I have not regretted. I will never forget my beautiful Aunt Joyce, and treasure all of my memories of her. I cant wait to see her again! Love you Phil and Julie, Cousin Betsy
Aunt Joyce was a genteel, southern lady whose kindness was unsurpassed. I loved visiting Aunt Joyce and Uncle Alwyn as a young girl and I have fond memories of learning how to ride English style. She will be dearly missed. Phil and Julie, please know that we stand with you in prayer. Sarah Edwards Luter
Dear Julie and Phil, I am just now learning of the passing of your Mother and your Father. My thoughts and prayers are with you both during this difficult time. May you find comfort in prayer and in one another. may God bless you both as you remember your parents and now make the journey in life without them. Knowing they are both together with our Lord and savior has to bring great comfort and joy. I also send my condolences to her sisters , nieces and nephews. Your mom was such a wonderful person and I know that she will be missed. She always made us the best fried bologna sandwich. LOL!!! And Im sure we drove her crazy as we did my Mom. I am so very sorry that I will be unable to attend your Moms service .But please know that I will be in thought and prayer with you all during this time. Hugs and prayers to all of you. Hope to see you soon at your Belk store! Love you! Allison Sellers

My dear Aunt Joyce…words can’t express how your calming demeanor ministered to me as a child and even now…what a beautiful soul you were to all who knew you… we knew who God was in your life by the fruits of the Spirit… love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness and self control…all these things we saw in you…I love you and will miss you greatlyheart
Julie and Phil, you are both in our prayers during this trying time. Love and look after each other and know that your mother and father are joined together again in Gods love and grace.
Our world is a little darker with sadness today, but Aunt Joyce would never want that. She would say hold your head high, and remember the good times. Remember reunion brunches on the farm, love for family and life. Remember kindness and caring for others, in other words remember her! My thoughts and prayers for Phil and Julie are strong and hopes that they can lean on one another to maneuver through details and take time to morn. Memories are the best way through this sorrow; I know you both have many wonderful memories and I hope they will give you strength and smiles. Love cousins Joey and Susie
