NASHVILLE– Kenneth Wayne Mott “Kenny”, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on February 11, 1970, he was the son of the late Alex Davis Mott and Katherine Ward Mott. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Frances Davis.
Kenny was a great fisherman. He had many fishing stories that he loved to share. Kenny was also a Cowboys and Wolfpack fan and loved watching racing. He loved his beach trips and was a master craftsman with wood crafts. He was a family man, and extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved nothing better than spending time with them.
Kenny is survived by his children, Patrick Mott (Katrina), of Rocky Mount, Kristina Mott, of Rocky Mount, Heather Mott, of Nashville, Crystal Mott, of Rocky Mount, Brandy Mott, of Rocky Mount and Tyler Mott of Nashville; ten grandchildren; his sisters, Betty Mott, Doris Smith (Phil), Linda Pollard and Mary Lewis (Dean); brothers, David Mott (Brenda) and Lee Mott (Brenda); and multiple nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor William Harper officiating.Flowers are welcome.
