Lillian Christine Famularo

ROCKY MOUNT – Lillian Christine Famularo, age 67, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025.  Born in Norfolk, VA on April 3, 1957, she was the daughter of the late William Frank Twiddy and Grace Blonnie Perry Twiddy. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Marie Boykin.

Lillian was a passionate sports fan. She loved watching football, especially her beloved Washington Redskins. Her favorite player of all time was RG3. Lillian also enjoyed watching soccer and tennis, cheering on Lionel Messi and Rafael Nadal, respectively. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and always made sure there was plenty of food for everyone at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her kind heart, and her love of all things purple.

Lillian is survived by her sons, Michael Famularo (Sheila), Joseph Famularo, Anthony Famularo (Asia); grandchildren, Ashton Famularo, Kaitlynn Williams Famularo; sisters, Mary Ellen Scott, Margaret Louise Strickland, Barbara Twiddy Hinnerman, and niece, Jessica Grace Wright.

A Special Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Parlor of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 661 English Road Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
